Aura reading involves a lot of color analysis. The connotations associated with each color are explained in the section below. Be sure to always trust your intuition when interpreting an aura.
Black
Black is a difficult hue to use. If one’s aura is black, there is nothing wrong with that. Black typically indicates that someone is protecting themselves from outside influences. This can also imply that someone is out of balance, concealing something, or harboring a secret. Adults who have not dealt with early abuse will carry this black ring until they are healed. A black ring typically signifies some type of abuse.
Blue
This color is many tints of blue. Auras of gifted people are tinged with blue. Pale blue hue within the purple that bursts outward from the heart like sunrays will be visible in intuitive people. Loneliness may be indicated by a darker blue. A very deep blue represents devotion, honesty, and sound judgment while muddier blue hues represent a controlling personality or a propensity for despair.
Brown
A person’s growth may be indicated by this color. When seen around the head and combined with other colors, it denotes a person who is growing intellectually, instinctively, and internally organized. Brown by itself can be a sign of inactivity or of someone who has “stalled.”
Gold
Denotes strong spiritual vitality and self-awareness. Muddy gold indicates that one has not fully accepted one’s higher levels.
Yellow
Usually associated with thinkers and analysts. Possibly a sign of a “balanced” person. People with intelligence display this color all over their skulls.
Green
Reliable, has healing qualities, and is compassionate toward others. A muddier shade, such as “green with envy,” may imply jealousy.
Gray
Can represent creativity and intuition. Silvery gray denotes femininity, yet darker gray can indicate physical imbalance or secrecy.
Orange
Bright orange indicates that a person is developing emotionally and paranormally. A drab hue denotes uncertainty about how to handle this growth. A guy with much pride comes across as muddy orange.
Pink
Pink is a symbol of love and sincerity. Additionally, it shows a creative and artistic person’s more reserved side. Dark pink could be a sign of immaturity or changes in one’s romantic life. Dull pink, but beware—someone is lying.
Purple
Deeper shades of purple, the color of intuition, indicate a person with a strong sense of self and passion. It can also signify being overbearing and having a strong erotic imagination.
Red
A hue associated with strong feelings, such as love or hate, and a lot of energy. But an extreme crimson hue could be a sign of someone about to lose control.
